Log keeps hitting 100%

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have an unraid server that for the most part works fine. I recently installed the linuxserver/boinc docker and whenever that runs within maybe a day I see on my main Unraid dashboard that the Log his 100% and then the docker appears to stop.  At least I no longer see any CPU usage.

I've trying doing some searching but I'm not sure what to do.  I'm still relatively new to Unraid.

How do I even clear this log?  All that seems to work right now is for me to reboot my Unraid box.

Is there a setting I can change to prevent this?

Any help or advice would be appreciated.  Thank you!

Your log should not even approach 100% to begin with so you have a problem happening for which errors are filling up the log.

I would suggest as the first point to attach the diagnostic zip (Tools -> Diagnostics -> attach zip file).

Note: we need the diagnostics while the log is at 100%, not after a reboot which does not contain what happened to the log.

Really?  wow ok.  Thank you.  I will restart my BOINC / Covid docker, wait for it to fill and attach it here.  Thanks!

Add this to advanced settings inside "extra parameters" inside every container

--log-opt max-size=50m --log-opt max-file=1
