unraid 6.8.3 tried to reformat drive two from reiserfs to btrfs and now I have no user shares ... how do i reenable?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I tried to follow the wiki page for unraid 6.2+ to reformat a drive from reiserfs to btrfs after moving all the files to another array.

unRaid now says I have no user shares and wants to do a full parity build.

If i navigate via mc to each of the drives the data is still there (the reformatted one is empty as expected)

Do I have to wait for the parity rebuild before I get any user shares back?

I have the comunity applications back up I guess that could help?

Thanks for your time,

Bobby

Go to Tools - Diagnostics and attach the complete diagnostics zip file to your NEXT post.

I have appdata backups of the usb drives, community applications and vm's

I'm copying the latest (from march 24th) to my other unraid server just in case.

two hours to finish copying (plex is big)

canceled parity check for now

tried to add a share via the web interface that already existed and it didn't show up after creation on the shares page

only disk shares are listed

tried to add a new non-existing share and it didn't show up after creation

Thanks for your time,

Bobby

Stop array. Go to Settings - Global Share Settings. Remove everything from Included disks and set disk shares to auto.

Did that and all I have as a share is the flash drive ...

I followed the wiki ...

rebooted about what would be a sixth time and the shares are back, but no disk shares ...

I'll see if it's possible to get them back tomorrow

although, all I really need exposed for disk shares most of the time is the cache drive ...
