April 1, 20206 yr After power issue Disk 5 was disabled. Restarted and it wanted to do a read check Can someone review logs and tell me whats going on? As soon as I start that, disk 6 start taking lots or read errors. Thanks tower-diagnostics-20200331-1931.zip

April 1, 20206 yr Author Thanks! It would seem these Chinese power cords I bought off ebay were a bad idea. Kinda had a feeling they might not be so hot when I seen the sata connection "clipped" into the wire and just used teeth to cut the outside and make a connection.

IDC (insulation displacement contact) is actually preferred over the molded version, but that doesn't mean they did it correctly, or that the part that connects to the drive is designed well.
