Michelle Bausager
Hallo I have a little problem with my cd/dvd-drive. When it's conected to the motherboard with SATA, it simply doesn't show up. Now, there's nothing wrong with the SATA-port on the motherboard, HDD's registeres just fine. And there's nothing wrong with the dvd, since I have a SATA-to-USB.2 I can conect it to my laptop and it works fine. Now, the weird part, if i use the SATA-to-USB.2 and plug it in a USB port on the case of the server... it works! Has anyone had a problem like that before? Maybe a solution? I hope everyone is at home safe and sound! Thank you for reading 😄 Michelle B. Edited April 2, 2020 by Michelle Bausager Quote Link to comment
civic95man
where are you looking for the cd/dvd drive to "show up" in unraid? When you plug it into the motherboard, does it show up in the BIOS? Quote Link to comment
Michelle Bausager
Okay, looked ind the BIO's, and it showed up. The only thing I changed while I was in there was; 'Limit CPUID Maximum' to 'Enable'. And now it pops-up in 'System Devices'. I don't really get it, but hey, to works! It's in the section 'SCSI Devices' c: Thanks for your time c: Quote Link to comment
