Hey all, I have 2 Seagate Exos 16 TB drives coming in to replace my parity and the 2TB disk shown in my array below.

 

What is the best way to go about this? I see the https://wiki.unraid.net/The_parity_swap_procedure but want to make sure I'm not missing anything. Is everyone doing extensive tests on their drive before adding? I've seen preclear and smart testing prior to use.

    If there is nothing wrong with any of the existing disks then there is no reason to do parity swap.

     

    Just replace parity and rebuild it, then replace disk4 and rebuild it.
