Win10 VM won't boot with USB card selected

Featured Replies

Hi There, I'm a newbie who's been working on setting up my first VM for a gaming machine.

I've been following along with SpaceInvaders youtube guides and have successfully managed to pass through my GPU and sound card and it's working great. However, I want to retain USB hot-pluggability so I've purchased this usb card and it's installed. Worked under a non-vm windows environment just fine. I managed to make it visible as a PCI device, and it's in its own IOMMU group, but as soon as I try to start the VM, it hangs and never boots properly. Looking for suggestions. Thank you!
