razor950
Hello, I have this card with all the drives in JBOD and unRAID has been working fine, however lately I have an issue where the controller seems to act up and spit out errors before I moved onto 6.9.0 beta, the errors weren't extremely helpful but now I can post what I get and I am wondering if the controller is acting up or if there is something else causing this issue. JorgeB
Does it have the latest firmware installed? Not many users with MegaRAID controllers, so not much experience with their errors. Quote Link to comment
razor950
Hello, I do have the latest firmware, I don't have the latest CPLD or at least I don't think. I also get a Segmentation fault when trying to run storcli which is megaraid's cli tool, I'd like to run it to get further information without having to enter bios and to update the CPLD, I'll try older storcli versions to see if that fixes the issue. I have the latest bios firmware as well incase that was an issue and I moved onto beta because stable wasn't producing proper logs, I was also hoping newer kernel might contain driver fixes. Edited: the older storcli runs fine, I'm using that to gather information to send to broadcom, if it is hardware related it is somewhat okay, we have a spare to replace and can get that one returned but I would be surprised that it is a hw issue and not fw or driver related.
