Upcoming first time user of Unraid (well, potentially).
I'm currently planning to install Unraid for my NAS when rest of the hardware shows up in the mail.
I'm also planning to shuck drives out of WD My Books, but before that I would like to use the preclear plugin in Unraid to stress test those drives before shucking and transferring any data to them.
So is it possible to use Unraid (trial) before creating an array first, and preclear external drives plugged in via USB? If so how?
