CPU fan keeps running at a lower setting

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm having overheating issues with my CPU and I installed the system temperature plugin. Noticed my CPU fan always runs at 800rpm but this is a Noctua Fan NH-L9i with 2500rpm

My point is, the fan is not increasing the RPMs as the CPU gets hotter. Something I can do to help this?

It wasn't happening before because I moved the computer to a spot where the AC doesn't reach as well.

You should check BIOS setting or try disable FAN control and check does FAN run in expect RPM.
