Cache drive just died need help

My cache drive just up and died out of the blue, was a 2TB Seagate Firecude drive, not even two years old.

I was running plex and a bunch of other dockers.

What can I do to get everything back?

    I moved the cache drive to a different physical disk slot in my server, when I powered the server back on it appeared as an unassigned device, added back as my cache drive and everything is back to normal.

    What is the best way to backup the cache drive so that if this happens again it would be relatively easy to put everything back?
