ChaosTh3or1st
I need some help with passing through a PCI controller, I have a VM with a passed through GPU without issue but any time I attempt to pass-through a PCI USB Controller the system will no longer boot with "No Bootable Device" and even after removing the device from pass-through a full restart of Unraid is required in order to get the VM running again. The device I am attempting to pass through: IOMMU group 19: [1106:3483] 05:00.0 USB controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. VL805 USB 3.0 Host Controller (rev 01) I have attempted the XML method and the Syslinux Config method (vfio-pci.ids=1106:3483) XML <hostdev mode='subsystem' type='pci' managed='yes'> <driver name='vfio'/> <source> <address domain='0x0000' bus='0x05' slot='0x00' function='0x0'/> </source> </hostdev> Quote Link to comment
testdasi
When copy-paste text from Unraid, use the forum code functionality (the </> button next to the smiley button) so the text is sectioned and formatted correctly. You need to provide the full xml. Also copy-paste your syslinux config and the PCI device section in Tools -> System Devices. Would also be useful to include the diagnostics zip (Tools -> Diagnostics, attach zip file). Quote Link to comment

did not do both of these configurations at the same time, tried one then the other and both times had the same result of the VM in question been unable to boot however I was able to add the device into the system. I will grab my diagnostics if you nothing looks wrong here. Edited April 9, 2020 by ChaosTh3or1st Quote Link to comment
