Hello

I have a problem with my Win10 VM.

When I start the Win10 Vm (with 12GB from 16GB RAM) the RAM Usage goes up to 100% immediately (reported by Unraid Dashboard), no matter what the VM does (even if Win 10 reports only 4GB of Usage)

Any idee?

Make sure "Initial Memory" and "Max Memory" are set to the same value.

Check the docker tab advanced view to see how much memory your dockers are using.

 

I have 32Gb of RAM, 16Gb for my VM, 16Gb for UNRAID and I usually have around 80% memory usage.

Docker? This is not a docker so it does not show up in the docker page. It is under the VMS page.

I misread the original post, if you set the VM to 12GB those 12GB are immediately allocated at VM start, so what it's not that surprising that total memory usage is at 100%, depending what else you have running.

Oh okay. This means that unraid then needs the other 4GB.
