Had trouble upgrading unraid now I don't have key

Featured Replies

I tried updating unraid by making a copy of the flash directory and then pasting a uncompressed copy of the latest version in it's place but that didn't seem to work.  I've since managed to build a new the flash drive with the flash creator tool and replaced the config folder with the backup but now it doesn't have the key.  Where would I find it in the backup?

Wait, just realized at least part of the problem is that I used another flash drive so that I didn't damage the original farther.  But apparently the key is tied to the flash drive.  Should I just try to rebuild on the original USB drive?

Not quite sure I'm following exactly what the problem you're having is.

Thanks, but once I figured out the problem, I rebuilt unraid on the original flash drive and everything seems to be working fine so far.  Thanks.
