Dealing with odd permission issues with Home Assistant config folder

Featured Replies

I recently has HA on a proxmox setup but the computer quit on me so for now I put HA back on unraid. I coped my config over with Krusader and started it up. When I tried accessing the folder through vscode to edit some configs it wasnt able to open it due to permission. I can even use a samba share to copy a file to my windows desktop. I am stuck either using cli or sftp to open and edit the files. I even tried chmod -R 777 HomeAssistant-Core/ but it doesnt seem to have helped the issue. Any ideas, very frustrating.
