April 17, 20206 yr Hey all, I'm a newbie and I apologize in advance for potentially stupid questions. However, I was setting up UNRAID when I noticed that the standard user shares (Ex. app data, domains, isos, and system) are not there and it reads "There are no exportable user shares" https://imgur.com/gallery/dXzgXaH I have read in other forums and it seems that the user permissions is the issue. I was able to view the permissions in terminal saw this ... https://imgur.com/gallery/BxEnMjE . Can anyone break it down for me what I need to do in order to correct these permissions? It would be much appreciated.

April 17, 20206 yr Author This was the first forum I came across and from there I checked my user permissions and that is when I saw the D---- etc. I'm not sure on which commands I would need to use in order to change the permissions. April 17, 20206 yr Have you formatted disk1 yet? Is there data supposed to be on it? Also, going forward always attach the zip file, not individual ones
April 17, 20206 yr Author I apologize for that. There should not be any data on it. I have a Plex server running on ubuntu that I will eventually integrate over. I have not formatted disk1. I thought UNRAID did that automatically. Do you think that is my issue?
April 17, 20206 yr Community Expert If the disk has not been used by Unraid before and is showing as Unmountable in the GUI then you need to format it to create an initial empty file system on it.
