Cleaning up /boot/

I was cleaning up my boot drive (i.e. old plugins and packages now replaced by dockers) and I am at the point of the packages folder which contains a ton of .txz and tgz files...

 

Are these still being used and I should be careful removing or can I wipe this folder?  (I have a backup, of course)

    1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
