April 19, 20206 yr Hey Guys, I just built a monster server for my home lab and I will also be running a plex server on it too. The hardware is basically a Supermicro X11SPM-TF mother board (C622 Chipset), Intel XEON Platinum 8260L (24 cores - 48 threads), 96gigs of ram, 80tb of drive space.. 40tb for VMWare ESXI 7.0 and 40tb for UnRAID, 1tb 970 pro nvme for UnRAID cache, Quadro P2200 graphics card and 3 860 Pro SSD's etc etc. Anyway, I am not getting cpu temps and it actually thinks I am running a different chipset see below: Model: Custom M/B: Intel Corporation 440BX Desktop Reference Platform Version None - s/n: None BIOS: Phoenix Technologies LTD Version 6.00. Dated: 12/09/2019 CPU: Intel® Xeon® Platinum 8260L CPU @ 2.30GHz HVM: Not Available IOMMU: Not Available Cache: 16 KiB, 16 KiB, 16 KiB, 16 KiB, 16 KiB, 16 KiB, 0 KiB, 0 KiB, 0 KiB, 0 KiB, 0 KiB, 0 KiB Memory: 12 GiB DRAM (max. installable capacity 13 GiB) Network: bond0: fault-tolerance (active-backup), mtu 1500 eth0: 10000 Mbps, full duplex, mtu 1500 Kernel: Linux 4.19.107-Unraid x86_64 OpenSSL: 1.1.1d Uptime: I am not getting any temps etc that would show for this motherboard. I wonder to I need to install a driver or ? This is my very first UnRaid Build and looking forward in using it. I can't believe it took 14.5 hours to setup parity on those drives Also it is not saying I have HVM or IOMMU capability but I am able to passthru just about anything I have wanted so far. the GPU, the IT mode raid card, the nvme drive etc without issue. Thank you for any thoughts and suggestions to put some polish on this baby.. Mike unraid-diagnostics-20200419-0215.zip
April 19, 20206 yr if you run unraid as VM, then you have no direct access to motherboard sensors. use IPMI plugin to get all sensors through IPMI.
April 19, 20206 yr Author Cool didn't know there was an IPMI plugin. It seems you have plugin's for just about everything ..
