Stephen67
This might be a stupid newbie question, but I've been googling it and searching for past 3 days. I am ruining/trying to run haugene/transmission-openvpn docker. And from what I have read openVPN has an issue because NordVPN has changed cert locations and API format?? the solution is to run/install NORDVPN update script ( https://haugene.github.io/docker-transmission-openvpn/nordvpn-script/) which I got here (https://github.com/OpenVPN/openvpn) for the life of me I can figure out how to run the script or find where it goes or what file to modify. I know there are post saying NordVPN does not handle port forwarding etc. I have it running on an Xpenology server and it ok. output of docker log file is also posed I also have Surfshark and that too requires a script to be run (https://github.com/haugene/docker-transmission-openvpn/tree/master/openvpn/surfshark) and the custom .ovpn files to be used. Again stupid question how do you run it or where do you put it and where/how do the .ovpn files go. Any help is greatly appreciated I am pulling the hair out of my head and almost bald! Thanks docker log file.txt Quote Link to comment
[email protected]
I would be interested in this as well for surfshark and purevpn Quote Link to comment
nosni1
Did you ever solved this? Quote Link to comment
ju_media
+1 trying to do the same with Surfshark on my unraid server. Would appreciate an update if the OP ever managed to find a solution to this? Quote Link to comment
Stephen67
I ended up installing Portainer and used it to modify the docker parameters rather than the unRaid docker manager. For whatever reason it just wouldn't work in the unRAID docker editor and take the settings. It was over 9 months ago, so I don't remember the exact specifics. I think it just worked afterwards and I just had to do a few minor tweaks. But I did follow the settings from a docker compose file a friend had given me. from Portainer. I can try posting a screen capture, but almost identical to what the example is in github. For the most part inhex-delugevpn is faster. I have both installed with only 1 running at a time.
