Script to check if any VM is up and running, then shutdown

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a script to check if any of my VM is up and running and then if there aren't, shutdown the system. Otherwise if any VM is up, do nothing.

I searched the web but didn't find anything useful.. just the "powerdown" function to turn off the server.

Any help?

Thank you so much!

Bump.

Searching as well. Would be really appreciated if someone could share a script on how to detect if a specific VM is running.

Thanks!

Maybe someone can help?

Looking for something like this as well (albeit for a Docker containter). 🙂
