April 21, 20206 yr Hi new to forum. I am running 6.5.3. My Plex stopped working and Docker is giving me time out errors on the github. I tried to update from instructions below and when going to the URL I get this: plugin: installing: https://s3.amazonaws.com/dnld.lime-technology.com/stable/unRAIDServer.plg plugin: downloading https://s3.amazonaws.com/dnld.lime-technology.com/stable/unRAIDServer.plg plugin: downloading: https://s3.amazonaws.com/dnld.lime-technology.com/stable/unRAIDServer.plg .. This update page is there for a long time. How long does this take? Any suggestions to get back up and running would be helpful.

I may move your post and any responses to its own thread since you may have a problem unrelated to the upgrade.
April 21, 20206 yr /boot/config/plugins -rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 1762 Mar 11 2017 dynamix.plg Delete dynamix.plg from /config/plugins on the flash drive, reboot then try again.
April 21, 20206 yr Author no. docker pull linuxserver/kodi-headless Using default tag: latest Error response from daemon: Get https://registry-1.docker.io/v2/: net/http: request canceled while waiting for connection (Client.Timeout exceeded while awaiting headers) The UPDATE to UNRAID gave me a network error message instead of doing nothing when trying to add container in docker the pull never pulls files down. April 21, 20206 yr Author https://s3.amazonaws.com/dnld.lime-technology.com/stable/unRAIDServer.plg when put that in plugin install I get a POP up and it only has the DONE button. Prior to adding DNS in last post I would get the url in pop up.
April 21, 20206 yr You may just need to update manually. Download the 6.8.3 zip from from limetech's website. Extract all of the bz* files in the zip and put them onto the flash drive (overwriting any that already exist). This is the exact same thing that the update via plugin does. (But, save a copy of the flash drive first just for safe keeping)
April 21, 20206 yr Author will try that. should this also fix my PLEX issues or is this another nightmare?

I would say the upgrade is unlikely to fix your plex issue, but we don't really know what the issue is since you haven't told us much about it. Sounds like you have some problem reaching the internet with your server, and that can cause certain kinds of plex problems. Your docker image is a little smaller than I normally recommend, but it is likely OK that way if you don't run many dockers.
April 21, 20206 yr Author thanks for your help. Do I just need copy over license file after update....using different USB drive so just in case. No issues for 4 years now this.

Might be simpler to try it on the existing flash first unless you think there is some problem with that. The license is associated with the flash it is on. If you do decide to use a new flash, you can do a license transfer that will give a new license key file for the new flash. See the REPLACE REGISTRATION KEY link at the bottom of this page
April 21, 20206 yr Author ok....when prompted I got the warning that the drives would be "erased". The drives were setup in the right spot. Did not feel comfortable at the time so reverted back to the original version: I did get the error for the PLEX install: plugin: installing: https://s3.amazonaws.com/dnld.lime-technology.com/stable/unRAIDServer.plg plugin: downloading https://s3.amazonaws.com/dnld.lime-technology.com/stable/unRAIDServer.plg plugin: downloading: https://s3.amazonaws.com/dnld.lime-technology.com/stable/unRAIDServer.plg ... failed (Network failure) plugin: wget: https://s3.amazonaws.com/dnld.lime-technology.com/stable/unRAIDServer.plg download failure (Network failure) So it appears that the server cannot access anything out of my network. Should I open a new inquiry for this?

April 23, 20206 yr Author so after re-reading several posts there was something from a cat in a lime helmet (or something like that). He said that there was no way that this was an UNRAID bug. I went to the router and low and behold my UnRaid server was disabled. I enabled it and 30 minutes later I am updated. my PLEX is broken now but that is another thread. Thank you all for your patience and support.
