[SOLVED] Way too regular lockups

Featured Replies

I am new to unraid, so please, be gentle.

For reasons I have yet to nail down, I get regular lockups, I would say on average one per day.  I am hoping someone can take a look at my diagnostics and give me an idea of how to fix this thing.

unraid 6.8.3

Ryzen 1700x

ASUS Prime B350 Motherboard

32 GB ram

2 x 12 TB WD Red drives

1 x 500 GB nvme cache drive

Hopefully this is enough to get things started.  I appreciate any help you may provide.

Thanks!

Rob

Haven't looked at diagnostics yet.

Have you seen this FAQ?

No, but I am reading through this now.  Thanks!

Just as a quick follow up, I was able to locate the settings in my BIOS to allow me to disable the c-states, all in all seems sort of crazy, maybe even a manufacturer defect.

Thanks for the link.

Try upgrading the BIOS and leaving Cstates enabled, it worked for me with a B350 Chipset and a Ryzen 2400G

I checked, I am at the most current rev.  Thanks!

I disabled the c-states, took a bit of hunting in the BIOS, now we wait to see if it changes anything.

FYI

Just as a followup to this, I believe disabling the c-states worked.  No mysterious lockups in the last several days.  Thanks for the advice!
