Access Unraid from computers on domain

Featured Replies

I have a site to site VPN from home to my office. All computers at the office run through a windows 2016 server and are on a domain. My Unraid box is at home, 6.5.3, and is not on the domain, just a workgroup for home.

For some reason I can not access Unraid from work, not by IP, Name or the GUI. I can access other computers at home and network back up drive at home, seems to be only Unraid. I can not ping Unraid either. So I don't know if this is a issue with the work computers being on a domain or an Unraid issue.

My Unraid is really simple no Docker or VM's, the only plugin is recycle bin. No users all shares set a public. SMB is set to Workgroup. I know this use to work but it has been awhile since I have done it, so I don't know if the issue started when we went to a windows server at work or if it is something else.

Well I did some more testing on this this morning and found out something else. I went directly into my router at work (Sonicwall TZ300) and ran a ping test to my unraid box at home. It will not ping from the router, which if I am correct it can not have anything to do with the PC's or windows server at work. From the router I can ping every other PC, printer, network storage at home. I just can't ping the Unraid box, any idea why this would be? Does Unraid log anything if it refuses a connection?
