I finally got my WIndows 10 VM running with Nvidia RTX2060 passthru, with a lot of help from this forum.

I connected to it via the RDP tool from my chromebook.

Everything looks okay, every driver seems to be installed - but in the "devices" section, there are 2 Graphic Adapters shown: The Microsoft Remote Desktop Adapter and

the Nvidia RTX2060. I tried deinstalling the Microsoft one, but it led to crashing down the VM.

Is this normal, that this device is shown?

The second point is, that I can't change the resolution - it's set to 800x600 and it says that it can't be changed remotely.

 

DId I miss something?

Microsoft Remote Desktop Adapter is the RDP display emulator. If you have a device in your Device Manager that is not in error state, forcefully removing it is rarely ever a good idea.

 

Try connecting a display to the graphics card to see if you are able to change resolution. If you can then you probably need a dummy HDMI plug.
