April 29, 20206 yr Hi All, I'm currently experiencing a Panic / Crash on my 6.8.3 Setup It's seems to be random, mainly happening overnight. Happened again today, pulseway alerted me the machine was offline at approx. 5:55 (this can be delayed so not precise time) Looking at my logs (set to mirror syslog to flash), last reported activity around that time was the mover process: Apr 30 05:32:44 server crond[1740]: exit status 1 from user root /usr/local/sbin/mover &> /dev/null Apr 30 03:17:09 server CA Backup/Restore: ####################### Apr 30 03:17:09 server CA Backup/Restore: appData Backup complete Apr 30 03:17:09 server CA Backup/Restore: ####################### Apr 30 03:17:09 server CA Backup/Restore: Deleting /mnt/user/backups/apps/[email protected] Apr 30 03:17:09 server CA Backup/Restore: Backup / Restore Completed Apr 30 03:30:01 server kernel: mdcmd (48): nocheck PAUSE Apr 30 03:30:01 server kernel: Apr 30 03:30:01 server kernel: md: recovery thread: exit status: -4 Apr 30 05:32:44 server crond[1740]: exit status 1 from user root /usr/local/sbin/mover &> /dev/null Apr 30 07:34:29 server kernel: microcode: microcode updated early to revision 0x21, date = 2019-02-13 Apr 30 07:34:29 server kernel: Linux version 4.19.107-Unraid (root@Develop) (gcc version 9.2.0 (GCC)) #1 SMP Thu Mar 5 13:55:57 PST 2020 Apr 30 07:34:29 server kernel: Command line: BOOT_IMAGE=/bzimage initrd=/bzroot Thanks server-diagnostics-20200430-0757.zip Edited April 29, 20206 yr by stevet
April 29, 20206 yr Author Memory Test Failed 4x4GB I tried each stick separately and each of them failed, even tried in every possible slot... I'm thinking it's more likely to be Motherboard or CPU. Will mark this as solved as hardware issue, will re-open if continues once hardware has been resolved Thanks
April 30, 20206 yr Community Expert Often the motherboard manufacturer will have a list of memory which has been tested to work. Sometimes they can be very picky.
April 30, 20206 yr Author This is a i7-3770 Box, it's been running for some time with no major issues. Will test out a different set of ram, thanks for you help
