April 30, 20206 yr Hello fellow UNRAIDers, We have a server running on bare metal at OVH (not cloud hosting, bare metal) Does someone know how I can manage to run UNRAID on their installation as I love the interface and it is easy to deploy containers and VMs as needed. Could UNRAID run on a virtualised USB stick?

April 30, 20206 yr Author Okay.. so long for that then... Isn't there a way to run UNRAID on hardware I don't possess physically ? I really love the interface and the ease of use of UNRAID and it would suit our current and future needs 100%
April 30, 20206 yr Community Expert Virtualizing Unraid is not supported. There is a subforum here for people who virtualize Unraid to support each other. https://forums.unraid.net/forum/46-virtualizing-unraid/ But the physical USB flash drive with a unique GUID is still required for the license.
