I was looking for something to replace a dead Easyshare H340 that runs Syno/XPEnology, I wanted something that runs docker/VMs and works as a NAS/Media Server. I'm floored how much you get with UNRAID as far as features and the community support looks great. I've repurposed a Lenovo S30 workstation that has a E5-2680, an ok amount of memory and 4x 6TB WD HDDs. And now thanks to this thread I'm in the process of migrating my data.

 

I not planning on using it for gaming but I'm interested in GPU transcoding. It has a R7 240 but I'm going to replace it with a GTX 1050 since that what seems to fit my budget and seems to have better support than the AMD cards. Time to watch some spaceinvader videos!
