Migrating to binhex plex from plex official container

Featured Replies

So after reading that using binhex's plex container might help solve my issue of the official plex container continuously writing to the disks. So I added binhex's plex and set the configs to my old plex configs. When I launch Binhex's plex, it starts the new server wizard.

I would like to transfer my library and data over so I don't have to remake the library and set everything back up. What is the correct way to go about doing this?

Thanks!

Thanks for that link! IT helped.

One other thing I noticed for anyone else that stumbles upon this thread,

My old plex server had Container Path: /Media

The binhex on has Container Path: /media'

I simple had to change to an upper case M. Such a small detail, but that's what threw it off, everything is working now!

Can you reference the source of your finding?
