Can I used both PCIe SATA and onboard SATA together?

I have a ASRock B450M PRO4 motherboard and a LSI SAS9201-8i PCIe. 

I'm using 8 drives via this card and none via the onboard SATA ports.

I want to add two more drives - can I just use the on board SATA?

I tried one, and it did not show up. But before I go messing with the BIOS, I wanted to check if it is even possible with this motherboard to have more than 8 SATA drives, mixed between the PCIe and the onboard.

Thanks for the advice.
