Hi all,

 

I've been researching here and there over the last few weeks on building my own NAS with this chassis. If you could pick any motherboard/processor combo for a low power solution which would you recommend? Since this will be a dumb NAS only for storage and not for transcoding or anything like that I'm guessing that means it doesn't need a high performance processor.

 

I'm thinking about an E3-1230v6 with an X11 board based on some of the ideas I've seen. Others have suggested Ryzen, but I'm not sure if it makes sense for my application. Any input or ideas are appreciated.
