Looking for new hdd's to put in my to setup new unraid system.

 was looking at

Seagate Barracuda Pro 10TB 295 euro

Seagate IronWolf 10TB          360 euro

Western Digital Red 10TB      335 euro

 

the WD i know is a Nas disk the ironwolf is also i think but the barracuda isnt.

 

the prices arnt that far apart. The red is 5400 rpm the other 2 are 7200. so i guess the 2 seagates are faster?

 

also seeing a Western Digital Wdbbgb0120Hbk-Eesn My Book 12 Tb Usb 3.0 Hdd

which is an external one and is even cheaper also 280 euro

but i have to remove the case and do something to the pins? never done that before.

    i orded some of the my book and will check that out. FIrst time ever i will kill the enclose to get the hdd out.
