Cannot get cache to format to XFS

I had it in BTRFS, emptied it, and cannot get the server to let me format it as XFS.

 

I stop the array, reformatted it as XFS and it just complains that it is not BTRFS like it used to be. If I leave it unformatted and format it when the array is started, it doesn't give me a choice and just does BTRFS. I have the number of cache drives set as 1, so that isn't it.
