Appdata is on cache for pi-hole, cache is not present

Recommended Posts

Hi guys.

I have unraid server with 5 disk, 3 data and 2 parity. No cache drive in server.

Few days before I installed Pi-hole in docker and pi hole is installed on /mnt/cache/appdata/pihole/pihole/.

When browsing shares (GUI) in appdata folder I see other docker files (Plex, chrusader, openvpn), but no pi-hole files.

When browsing /mnt/cache (not showing in shares...why?)  Can see only in terminal, files for pi hole is here.

Can you explain me, why I dont see pi hole files in appdata shares (only in /mnt/cache) with terminal, if no cache drive present?

Why cache folder is created if no cache disk in server?

Because the template references /mnt/cache for two of its folder.  Edit the container and change it to either be /mnt/user/... on the two references or /mnt/disk1/...

When did you install it?

All versions of the Apps Tab after 4/19 look for those references and adjust them to match your system automatically.
