The wrong csrf_token is because you have left open a web session on the server.  Close all web sessions with unRAID.

Confirmed. Had two browser windows open to the same server, issues a reboot with one, the other started giving the bad token after the reboot until the page was refreshed.

Hello All,

I have just attached a new HDD using "unassigned devices" and have shared it to my network. I can access this new drive, but I am unable to make any changes to the drive. I keep getting a windows notification with "Destinstion Folder Access Denied, You need permission to perform this action". How do I go about getting permission to write?

I can't seem to find a way to search this thread. I haven't done much posting recently.

I just added this plugin to my 6.5 unRAID server. I am having some issues with a VM that runs my Security Camera Software. I am thinking the issue is the slower write speeds to the array so I am wanting to offload the VM onto a single mount. All seems to be working well with the exception that my Shares in the normal unRAID GUI are not showing up. Any thoughts?

unRAID webUI problems such as this are usually caused by incompatible plugins, adblockers in the browser, or possibly browser cache.

Did you take care of everything in these Update Notes when you updated to 6.5?

Hello. I am trying to reduce the load and I/O on my external disk mounter with UD, I am mainly using for storing torrent data, was wondering how to add "noatime" option to reduce read and write, don't know whether edit the fstab or UD has a built-in webUI option, it would be really nice to make the changes to stay persistent after the reboot

this is how my fstab file looks like:

/dev/disk/by-label/UNRAID  /boot         vfat      auto,rw,exec,noatime,nodiratime,umask=0,shortname=mixed  0  1
/boot/bzmodules            /lib/modules  squashfs  ro,defaults  0  2
/boot/bzfirmware           /lib/firmware squashfs  ro,defaults  0  2
tmpfs                      /dev/shm      tmpfs     defaults     0  0

Attached the screenshot of the drive just in case if needed down below:

Would appreciate any input. Thank you!!!

Disks formatted XFS are mounted with "noatime" and "nodiratime".

UD does not support formatting to the encrypted file systems that unRaid now supports.  I would be interested in XFS encrypted formatting specifically.

Thanks for making UD support mounting encrypted devices.

Is there any way to format a drive as encrypted in UD?

Not at this time.  UD can only mount one from the array.

Hello

I don't know if anyone can help with this but I suspect it might be a bug in the plugin.

I just installed the latest version of Unnassigned Devices - dated 2018.04.09 onto Unraid v 6.5.1

I did a conversion of a VM disk directly to a new SSD drive, unassigned to the array, and it created the expected partitions. But each of the partitions are listed as 0 bytes. I updated the VM to use the disk and it did work, although slower than I had expected, but the sizes of the partitions are still showing zero.

Below is a screenshot of what I see. Any ideas?

I have started using unassigned devices for mounting xfs-encrypted drives.  I am needing to take backups of the Luks Header, as this is recommended for disaster recovery.  If the drive is array mounted I would:

cryptsetup luksHeaderBackup /dev/md1 --header-backup-file /boot/LuksHeaderBackup/SS_2T_1695

But with unassiged devices I get the following:

May 2 08:55:39 drChina1 unassigned.devices: Adding disk '/dev/mapper/SS_1695'...
May 2 08:55:41 drChina1 unassigned.devices: Mount drive command: /sbin/mount '/dev/mapper/SS_1695' '/mnt/disks/SS_1695'
May 2 08:55:41 drChina1 kernel: XFS (dm-2): Mounting V5 Filesystem
May 2 08:55:41 drChina1 kernel: XFS (dm-2): Ending clean mount
May 2 08:55:42 drChina1 unassigned.devices: Successfully mounted '/dev/mapper/SS_1695' on '/mnt/disks/SS_1695'.

and referencing as /dev/mapper/SS_1695 just errors out with

"Device /dev/mapper/SS_1695 is not a valid LUKS device."

Is this not the correct way to reference this drive?

Thank you both. I guess the simplest solutions are the best, it works fine.

I had seen a tutorial where this was not necessary, so maybe that was a version issue of either the plugin or of Unraid itself.

Anyway, thanks for your feedback, I am now all set.

Strange behavior for a 4tb disk converted to xfs-encrypted on a different machine and then plugged in and attempted to mount with UD.  No option to rename the device is given and format is the only option available.  It should present a mount option.  This drive was previously formatted xfs and attached via UD so there is some history that may be confusing things.  However after I have forgotten the historical record of it, still no luck mounting it.

I have done this exact same process with other drives and had no issue mounting xfs-encrypted.  What might be wrong with this one?  Relevant logs below?
