I don't see in the log where samba is setup on the disk share after the disk is mounted.  Are you sure you have the disk share switch on?

Maybe I am doing it wrong?  this is what i have.  these are screenshots from settings and from the mount point share with the drive share.  I think blue is on?

instead of using workgroup name for workgroup i use the name federation (star trek)  I don't run a domain here only a workgroup.  Is that not correct?

UD is not setting up the SMB or NFS shares and I see no reason for that.  My only suggestions are:

• Click on the double arrows on the UD page and see if it fixes the problem.
• Reboot.

If UD has set up the share properly, you'll see it in the testparm output between the [global] and [flash] sections.

 

If neither of these work, let me know and I'll look at it some more tomorrow.

First and foremost thank you no matter the outcome.  thank you..  You are kind and generous with your time.  I will follow your suggestions.  and report back tomorrow.  have a good night.  I work tomorrow 1st shift EST.  so I will be hit or miss.  thank you again.

I've added soom additional logging to help understand the issue you are having.  Update UD and be sure you mount a shared disk before posting diagnistics again.

By the way, I have same problem. Until now I have been working with the shares, suddenly the two shares are no longer visible over the network. They are mounted, because I can access them internally, but not externally over the network.

Same issue here. 

 

Visible internally to Sab/Sonarr/Krusader but no longer visible from Windows 10 clients on my network.

It looks like your UD Settings are not correct.  Go to UD Settings and re-apply the SMB Security settings:

That's the strange thing, sharing is enabled. Here in the screenshot you can see it.

Post new diagnostics.

I toggled the share option on/off while it is mounted.  No change in results.

 

SMB Security, where is that located?

 

I don't think I have ever seen that option screen.
