May 15, 20206 yr Hi All, Long time lurker first time poster. I've set up Nextcloud on my unraid, however I dislike the way it spins up the drive the /data is stored every time I look at the web GUI. As far I can tell it's because there is ANOTHER appdata folder in the /data folder. I am wondering if anyone knows how to keep this stored on the cache drive within the /config folder. I have attempted to remap by mapping container path /data/appdata_instanceID to /mnt/user/appdata/nextcloud/appdata_instanceID and move all those items. Yet for some reason nextcloud just recreates all the files after a day or so. Anyone gone down this path before?
May 15, 20206 yr Never had a problem like this. Here are my docker settings: /mnt/user/nextcloud/ ---------------------------------------------------------- Container Path: /data and /mnt/user/appdata/nextcloud ---------------------------------------------------------- Container Path: /config To see the option "/config" you have to click on "show more settings". And obviously you have to make sure your appdata share is on the cache drive. My data share is also on the cache drives so that no drives have to spn up for that.
