May 18, 20206 yr Hello! I have an issue with unraid 6.5.2 server i had to do a unclean' shutdown, I am now no longer able to load the array the server will hang at 'mounting disks i thought it might have been because of the ram so i changed it same problem then i thought maybe it was a bad HD that i had so i just got done pre -clearing so started up the array its been 20mins & its still stuck at 'mounting disks any suggestions? Thanks.
May 18, 20206 yr After starting the array see if you get the diags on the console by typing "diagnostics"
May 18, 20206 yr On the server console using your keyboard/monitor if you have one, alternatively using the terminal window/putty.
May 18, 20206 yr Author Sorry it took me so long to reply back wife had car trouble OK what’s my next move how do i get it says it created a zip
May 18, 20206 yr The zip is on the logs folder of yoru flash drive, upload it here directly to the forum.
May 18, 20206 yr Author so i have to unsafe power down my sever unplug the flash drive plug it into my pc to get the zip-file right
May 18, 20206 yr Try to shutdown the server by typing "shutdown" on the console, if it doesn't after 5 minutes you'll need to force it.
May 18, 20206 yr That is not the diagnostics, just the syslog. See if you have a diagnostics zip file.
May 18, 20206 yr There appears to be a problem with the cache filesystem, to confirm do this: If Docker/VM services are using the cache disable them, then unassign the cache device and start array.
May 18, 20206 yr Author OK where do I go to do this remember I’m new to this whole unraid thing and you actually teaching me some things I never knew how to do and I really appreciate this Are you telling me to go to the server disconnect the connections to the SSD then turn the server back on go to the PC and unassigned the SSD then start the array Edited May 18, 20206 yr by Jmoney
