Slow read and write speeds to array in Ubuntu Server 20.04 VM

With a Windows 10 VM I get this speeds

but in Ubuntu VM I get this speeds 
array mounted using this command 
sudo mount -t cifs //ip/media /mnt/media -o

mounting with virtio I get this speeds

 

Someone guide me please.

Rsync is not the best option for speed, and it can be very slow with some options like compression, try a tranfer with pv

A little better, at least the first one, but can't help with this, outside my wheel house, moved the thread to the VM sub-forum which the more indicated one and hopefully someone else can help.
