lutiana Posted May 20, 2020 Posted May 20, 2020 Hello everyone, Before I had a static IP and DNS record for my unraid box, https://192.168.2.9, but I have been making some changes and setting up some VLANs and today I changed the IP of my unraid setup to 172.17.100.102 (after changing the Docker subnet in the config files to avoid overlapping subnets). But now I canot access the webui at all. I can SSH into the machine, I can even get to the SMB shares just fine, but nothing web based works. I even rebooted the box to no avail. So what did I miss in changing the IP?? Steps I went through to change the IP: 1. Stopped docker 2. Stopped the array 3. Settings -> Network 4. Changed the IP, the gateway and the DNS server. Double checked it and then hit apply. 5. Moved the interface over to it's new VLAN interface. 6. Tried connecting to the Webui, connection times out. 7. Rebooted the unRAID server from the command line. 8. Tried the webui, connection timed out. 9. Ping the new ip. works. SSH in on the new IP, works. Browse to the SMB shares, works. What did I do wrong here? Thanks, Quote

No let's encrypt here, but I had tried the IP and the DNS name to no luck. Am also using standard ports, so nothing funky there. I decided to reboot it one more time, because why not. I also rebooted by desktop machine, and now it is working. No clue what happened though. But just goes to show the old adage of "have you turned it off the on again" holds true. I am having trouble with one of my dockers (binex/rtorrent) though, but that'll be a seperate post if it comes to it. Quote
