joe90 Posted January 4, 2011 Share Posted January 4, 2011 I just upgraded my motherboard and setup and my router still sees my old server mac address. when I look at /boot/config/network.cfg # Generated settings: USE_DHCP=no IPADDR=192.168.1.2 NETMASK=255.255.0.0 GATEWAY=192.168.1.1 HWADDR=00:19:66:44:8E:BB DHCP_KEEPRESOLV=no DNS_SERVER1=192.168.1.1 DNS_SERVER2=69.28.239.8 DNS_SERVER3=74.116.184.9 the old mac address of my previous motherboard is listed can I just remove the line and at the next reboot it will append the new info?
