May 24, 20206 yr I've read many post about issues setting up steam cache but I did not see anything related to my issue. I setup my Docker container exactly as instructed in: https://github.com/Josh5/lancache-bundle . I kept getting failures due to DNS server and IP address and finally went to "Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections" (Windows 10) and under Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) entered the default DNS server from the the bundle (192.168.0.200) and secondary DNS 1.1.1.1. With that was able to get the container to start. I open up "docker stats" from the unRAID terminal and when I download a steam game I see the CPU% increase for my lancache_container. However, when I uninstall the game and then re-download it looks as if it pulls from the Steam server again rather than from my cache. I had created a share named GameCache and pointed to it as the location to store cache files. In the end, that is the only thing I ended up changing from the default configuration from the bundle. Not sure what to do.
