Hey guys,

 

i searched through the forum but did not find anything like this.

If i missed something please let me know.

 

What are your backup strategies?

 

I have now two unraid systems.

My main system is syncing my personal files like documents and pictures every night with rsync (including --delete) to my backup unraid system.

My PLEX data is synced every weekend (including --delete).

 

Now i am worrying what happens, when files are deleted or be gone and i realize it one or two days later.

This situation is not covered with this backup strategy.

 

Thats why i need some suggestions or inspiration for a good backup strategy without using two many diskspace on my backup system.

I would prefer a local backup, no online (pay) backup solutions.
