Using Wireguard, Pi-Hole sees all devices as one - the unRaid server IP

Featured Replies

The Pi-hole admin interface tells me which devices are using the DNS and what ads are blocked, per device. But when I'm using my phone, connected to my unRaid server via Wireguard and using the Pi-hole DNS, Pi-hole says that only one device is using Pi-hole - the server IP that is running unRaid (192.168.0.118).

How do i make Pi-hole aware of all devices connected to the Wireguard VPN? So that I can differentiate between all devices connected via Wireguard to my network and that are using Pi-hole.

  • I'm using unRaid 6.8.3
  • Wireguard peers are connected with "Remote access to LAN"
  • Pi-hole is set up in a docker container on unRaid.

Thank you!
