Sorry I don’t own such hardware, what is the first led? Power, LAN, HDD?

You're right, my apologizes.

Here you can see a short video of LED activity:

As you can observe, the Power Button LED is still, the LAN LED is always flashing and the Disk 1 flashes (with a different pace) only during read/write operations.

Thank you for your support!

This is expected behavior.

This is also expected since most likely something is always using the network. If you want to test of it works disconnect the LAN cable.

What should be different?

I didn't know, sorry.

I tought that LAN was supposed to stay still when connected and off when disconnected.

Thank you for clarifying!

No worries at all.

It actually indicates when there is activity.

The LED stays solid when there is no activity.

Did you yet try to reboot and did the LED stay on?

From what I see in your Diagnostics it should work properly.

@Joly0 has the same box AFAIK, maybe he has the same behaviour.

After the next restart the LED remained off, after the next but one it lit up again. Maybe a timing problem?

Nope, definitely not a timing issue.

The plugin sets the brightness and how the LED behaves each start.

Did you yet try to shutdown your Server and see what happens after the start?

It should blink initially but become static after the plugin is installed on boot (should be right before the WebUI from Unraid is reachable).

It's really strange since you are the first one who is reporting this issue and I'm having a hard time reproducing that because I don't have such a Box.

Did you yet try what I recommended here when the LED stays off or does not what it is supposed to do:

Hey guys,

i try to connect a intel u7 (meteor lake) to unraid. it finds the cpu but it cannot find the gpu.
Any ideas how to fix that?

Hi,

this morning I did a complete shutdown of my machine. After 5 minutes, I rebooted it. The led was blinking when booting up. After boot was complete, the led went off.

I ask again, did you yet try the commands that I already posted twice?

Hey @ich777 @datarepos i have the same ugreen NAS but havent noticed this issue, though i have my ugreen now in a separate room that i rarely look into and i have just restarted my ugreen, therefore cant replicate this issue now.

I will try to leave it powered on for a few days and will report back, if i notice the same issue

I think the issue appears for @datarepos after a fresh start, but AFAIK it should work when the plugin is installed.

Thank you, guys. I will do some more testing on the weekend, also with the commands….

Hello everyone,

I have bought a new system with the processor:
AMD Ryzen 5 2400GE - AMD Radeon Graphics - Vega 11 (integrated in CPU)
Yes I can read which versions are supported, but I can't help and ask if Vega 11 is also supported with this app?

Many thanks in advance and best regards

I'm not sure what you mean with that...

I assume you are talking about RadeonTOP correct?

RadeonTOP is just a binary/application so that you can read various stats from your iGPU but yes your iGPU should be supported.

Support for your iGPU is built into Unraid itself, or better speaking the drivers are shipping with Unraid.

Thank you very much for the quick response.
I was primarily thinking of “AMD vendor reset beta” and because the Vega11 is not listed there: https://github.com/gnif/vendor-reset

But as you said, I don't seem to need “AMD vendor reset beta” because the drivers are already stored in unraid.

Thanks again!

You don't need the Vendor reset, this was only needed for dGPUs, mostly Radeon 5xxx and older GPUs and then only if you where using the dGPU in a VM.

Hi guys,

as discussed, I made some tests during the last days.

Unfortunately, I still can't pinpoint exactly what triggers the behavior. In any case, it seems to be independent of whether the system was simply restarted via the GUI or console, or whether it was completely switched off and is switched on again. I have already made the system logs available here. Sometimes the behavior occurs, sometimes not. In any case, I can now confirm this. If the status of the LED was off after the last system start and I then use the commands, the LED comes on immediately and lights up continuously.

I will look into that but I can't tell if I actually can change that behaviour.

However for now you can put those lines in your go file at the very bottom (/boot/config/go), this will ensure that the commands where executed successfully.

Hi @ich777

Any chance please, that you can update the hailo driver version to 4.19 for the latest stable unraid release? (Kernel 6.1.106)? I don't wish to migrate to 7 while its beta, and the latest frigate beta (0.15.0 beta 2) container (-h8l) has updated the driver to 4.19.

Appreciate all you do, this would be a great help if you are able.

Thanks

I triggered the build, please give it at least 20 minutes then the package should be available.

@Flubster build done.
