Okay for all the muppets out there, be aware firmware/bios updates and resetting actually does indeed reset the settings, including not just the stuff you are rabbit holing on fixing.

tl;dr bios update reset the igpu, so it was set to auto and passing through ASPEED adapter instead of the actual intel iGPU

I can not install it, that is the error. So doubt there will be any diagnostics if I can not install the plugin.

But do you receive any messages or anything? Or what is the exact issue, when you click on Install you should get a popup, what's the error there?

EDIT: I just removed the plugin from my system and reinstalled it through the CA App and it is installing correctly:

If you don't get a popup then please report that in the CA App support thread.

I'll mention this for documentation purposes. On 6.12.x (final version before I upgraded 6.12.15), my i7-14700 iGPU (UHD770 Raptor Lake) wouldn't show active apps (clients) using the video card, eg. Plex transcoding. After upgrading to 7.0.0, with the newer kernel upgrade, it's fixed and listing apps using the card as it should.

Please post that in the GPU Statiscs support thread too.

I posted under the "GPU Statistics" plugin as well, since I'm not sure where the issue is. Running Beelink S13 W/ an Intel N150 on Unraid 7.0.0, just did a new install for the first time of GPU Statistics and Intel GPU TOP. When I first select the iGPU under "Unit ID for Dashboard(Multiple)" and go to the dashboard it show, briefly, some stats, but after about 1s they disappear and show the message "Vendor command returned no data.". Once that happens the stats never come back. Rebooted and still have the same issue.

root@Potamoi:~# intel_gpu_top -L
No GPU devices found

Attached any my diagnostics.

AFAIK this CPU or at least the iGPU from this CPU is not supported in Kernel 6.6.x

You have to wait for the next Unraid beta.

Ah ok. I’ll wait and test then. Thanks!

I have an Intel Pro A60 card. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/235979/intel-arc-pro-a60-graphics/specifications.html

Unraid sees the card in system devices (Unraid 7)

Have installed the plugin, rebooted and on the configuration page for the plugin it allows me to select the card, but the Dashboard stats shows nothing. Perhaps the card is not supported?

Neither Plex nor Jellyfin can see the card either, possibly due to the plugin. Can anyone help?

Please blacklist the driver with:

echo "blacklist i915" >> /boot/config/modprobe.d/i915.conf

and reboot afterwards, Intel-GPU-TOP will then force probe your dGPU, if that also doesn't work your card is probably not supported yet.

Please also make sure that Resizeable BAR is enabled in your BIOS and also make sure that you boot in UEFI mode.

EDIT: After a bit of research the card should just work fine, are you sure that your ASPEED iGPU isn't causing issues? The dGPU is known to be working correct?

ok i will try the blacklist.

The Igpu is the native server GPU vga adapter and it's working fine (outputs to my console).
I am not sure where you make the change to resizeable bar. This is an intel server Bios/MB. Had an old Nivida card that was working fine before this. In the bios i have enabled add-on GPU as well.

Yes, but it is known to cause issues, at least with Intel iGPUs.

In the BIOS, please note that Resizeable BAR must be enabled for Intel ARC cards to work properly.

The earlier blacklist solution did not work.

I guess i will have to disable onboard and test. I will have to clear CMOS if it doesnt work because everything will go dark.
There is no option for Resizeable BAR in intel server bios of my server.

some BIOS needs 1sz to enable "above 4g decode ..." before rbar option comes up, may look at the manual from the board.

I’ve been using NUT Actions and during a couple of power outages it’s worked great.  However, the last few days have been very windy and every few hours the lights flicker and the UPS momentarily engages and docker containers start to shut down.  It’s very brief and a delay of even a few seconds would have the server back on regular power.  Would it be possible to either add a brief delay or make it a user configurable option?

Thanks!

I look into that but that will possibly take me a few days.

Okay that was not that big of a change, please update the plugin to version: 2025.02.25 after that you should have the file:

/boot/config/plugins/nut-actions/settings.cfg

and there you can specify a delay in seconds (defaults to 0).

Sorry for it being a bit manual currently but I'll make that configurable in the WebUI when I got more time, hope that helps for now.

Hello, I'm requesting support for your plugin Radeon TOP
I'm trying to use my Ryzen 5700g igpu to transcode in av1 using AMF (which is supported by my hardware) with Tdarr but I'm getting this FFMpeg error in the (failed) file report:

[av1_amf @ 0x55f8ec12e440] DLL libamfrt64.so.1 failed to open

I've already tried adding this to the Tdarr container's extra parameters with no success (18 is my video group, and I have no render group on the host machine):

--group-add="18" --device=/dev/dri:/dev/dri --device=/dev/kfd:/dev/kfd

After more digging around seems like your plugin is only including libdrm and libdrm_amdgpu libraries that are part (if I'm not wrong) of the open-source amdgpu driver, but the component I'm looking for (libamfrt64) is part of the closed-source amdgpu-pro driver (amf-amdgpu-pro-1.4.36 is its last released package).
I've tried to add the latest version (and also some previous ones) of the ubuntu's libraries (I could not find anything built for slackware) in the folder "/usr/local/emhttp/plugins/radeontop/lib/" and then I run "modprobe amdgpu" but I had no success by myself.
I understand that you previously stated that this plugin enables support for VA-API but, sadly, with VA-API I cannot use neither av1 nor 10bit encoding in hevc, and not even tone-mapping (which would anyways be an awful "solution") so AMF is really my only option other than software encoding (which literally melts my cpu and is very time-consuming...)
I really hope you can help me (and possibly many others "low-budget fellas") fully enjoying our AMD hardware, let me know if you need any other information or if I can help you in any way!

Also, regardless of your answer, I would really want to sincerely thank you for your awesome job!
Crossing my fingers!

Sorry this plugin is only meant to read the stats from your iGPU.

If you pass the iGPU into a Docker container the Docker container itself must ship with these libraries and this plugin also doesn’t come with the closed source driver because this plugin is not the meant to ship with the closed source driver because it uses the in tree Kernel module.

@ich777

So just an update since you were helping me fix my Intel GPU issue. I changed the card to this one and now everything is working in Unraid and Plex/Jellyfin. The previous card was pre-prod and had some experimental battlemage firmware. It may also have been conflicting with my Aspeed Igpu as it has video output. The replaced card has no video output and intended for a server chassis.
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/230020/intel-data-center-gpu-flex-140/specifications.html

Now only one question remains - This card shows up in Unraid as 2 GPUs (this is apparently intentional from Intel folks). So is there a way i can tell Plex or Jellyfin to use Either card/whichever is available rather than specify /dev/dri/renderD128 or /dev/dri/renderD129?

In Plex 2 cards show up and i can only check 1 or leave it in auto. In Jellyfin i need to specify in the box.
I know this is not your issue (Plex/Jellyfin) but maybe you came across a way to use both?

Can you please explain what you mean with "which is available" do you plan to use the second one in a VM or just in another container?

I'm not 100% sure what you want to do but that would involve a script that constantly checks which card is in use and then stopping the container and recreating it with the correct render node that is available.

Is it not possible for you to add one render node to Jellyfin and one to Plex since Intel cards have no limitations in terms of simultaneous transcodes.

Yes i guess i can split them up since they dont have a limitation. Thanks!
