(6.3.1) Upgrading UnRAID not working

Featured Replies

Hi again,

I am attempting to upgrade from UnRAID 6.3.1 to the current version (Although it appears 6.5.3 is only available, which I assume it needs to go to that version first?).

I have backed up my Flash Drive and read the instructions for upgrading to the latest UnRAID from version 6.3 which are quite simple:

Quote

From version 6.3

Boot your server up and login to the web interface

Click the Plugins tab

Click the "Update" button next to Unraid Server OS

Once the upgrade is complete, reboot your server for it to take affect

However, I get this error:

plugin: updating: unRAIDServer.plg
plugin: downloading: https://s3.amazonaws.com/dnld.lime-technology.com/stable/unRAIDServer-6.5.3-x86_64.zip ... failed (Invalid URL / Server error response)
plugin: wget: https://s3.amazonaws.com/dnld.lime-technology.com/stable/unRAIDServer-6.5.3-x86_64.zip download failure (Invalid URL / Server error response)

Is there another step I am missing? Or am I doing something wrong (more than likely the case lol).

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Clint

Do a manual upgrade, old versions were deleted from the cloud.

Do I need to go to 6.5.3? or can I go straight the one that is available 6.8.3?

  • Community Expert

You can go directly to latest but it's a good idea to read the v6.5 upgrade notes and the release notes at least for the major point releases.
