May 28, 20206 yr Hello Unraid community! I'm a fresh Unraid amature that needs some assistance troubleshooting this error. Here's what i got. 1 brand new server 3x 12TB disks 1 PCIE SSD card holder with 2x 128GB SSD's The USB i installed Unraid on has gotten installed, inserted to the server and server has been started and seems to be running on Unraid straight away, thats awesome! When i go to the main tab i can select the disks i want and i want one of the 12TB disks to be the Partity drive and the two others as Disk 1 & 2 and my two SSD's for Cache drive. Though when i click the tabs to select the disk it seems to put two of the disks together both on SSD and HDD and the last HDD is missing. Do you have any clues on how i could solve this issue. May 28, 20206 yr Community Expert You should post your system diagnostics zip file (obtained via Tools >> Diagnostics) attached to your next post so that we can see what is going on with your system.
May 28, 20206 yr Community Expert You need to disable RAID on your controller or use a different controller.
May 28, 20206 yr Author I found out it was the Raid controller that did the thing. What can you recommend, going with 3x raid arrays, one for each disk or get an Raid controller with HBA functionality? is there any red flags with running the raid in 3 raid arrays and then going on unraid with a whole other array in software?
