HELP Mouse changes Device ID

Featured Replies

Hi, so this problem has come up recently and is bothering me to the max. While using my VM everything is normal and then out of no where the mouse disconnects. I check back on the Linux for the USB passthrough and the name is gone device ID stays 001:003 but the mouse has moved to a different one IE: 001:004 - 5 whatever it gets assigned to, I have to remove the previous passthrough and pass it in again with its new device ID, by clicking add hardware and USB host device blah blah. Is there a permanent fix to prevent this from happening? I have 3 USB passthroughs all Razer vendors but this doesn't happen to the headphones or the keyboard. Only the mouse.
As I was typing this it actually happened on the Linux OS which is my main OS obviously. It changed from 001:003 to 001:005. Still don't know why

Tested with my mouse's wireless mode and so far it hasn't given me this issue in this mode but I'd still like to know if there is a fix for wired in-case this comes up again
