kmetiuk Posted May 29, 2020 Posted May 29, 2020 (edited) I have a share that I dropped my old windows user "documents" into. I am unable to create a new folder in the "documents" folder, but if i go into it I can do whatever i want (delete/add/modify). But in the base folder "documents" I cannot create a new folder at all. It gives me the "you do not have permission from TOWER/nobody. I have tried many things. Reseting credentials. Remapping. Its been plaguing me for years and every month or so I spend a weekend trying to fix it. Im not sure what the path forward is to fixing it. Edited May 29, 2020 by kmetiuk Quote
kmetiuk Posted May 29, 2020 Author Posted May 29, 2020 Maaaaaaaan, this is why I waited to post looking for help. Every time I do, I find the answer before anyone replies. Never fails. I ran the Tools >>> New Permissions and it fixed it. Thanks to @Frank1940 for the answer in this thread: 1 Quote
