Featured Replies

hi,

does anyone have experience using the  a Broadcom 9500-16i HBA with  Unraid. It posts during boot but does not appear in UNRAID. Any help is appreciated as I am a total newbie.

cheers

HBA is detected but there's no driver loaded which I kind of expected since that's a very new model, I know the 9400-8i is supported, I don't remember anyone else using a 9500-8i, you could try v6.9-beta1 which includes a much newer kernel.

THANK YOU !
9500-16i is recognized by the beta 6.9 software and Drives are visible in main menu.

cheers

Albertus, where did you buy your 9500-16i? Also, does it have connectors as shown in the picture below or the two 8654 connectors listed in the specs?

@giganode Thanks! I ended up getting one of those and selling it because I couldn’t find any SATA breakout cables.
