unRAID with DAS

Featured Replies

I have everything going well with unRAID and my EMC Isilon X400 that I have turned into DAS.

My question is, if I need to take the DAS down, can I just stop the array in unraid and then power down the X400, or do I need to select shutdown in unraid and then turn off the X400.  (With the former being more convenient.). Thanks!

I am considering to buy a X400. These things are dirt cheap. But documentation is nowhere to be found.

Could you let me know, how you integrate the X400 with Unraid? How can one set the X400 to DAS mode?

Thanks for your support!
